Dr. Ziad Massaad is an infertility specialist who has accumulated more than twenty years of experience in assisted reproduction. He is highly regarded in the medical landscape as an authority in his specialty due to his significant achievements. In addition, he is known to follow a individualized patient centered approach which results in optimal results while facilitating the treatment process for the patients.
He started his medical training at St. Joseph University, Beirut and later completed his Obstetrics and Gynecology training at the American University of Beirut. He then travelled to the United States where he specialized in ART (Assisted Reproduction Technology) at one of the busiest IVF centers in the state of Michigan; there, he worked extensively with pioneers in the field, getting first hand experience in all aspects of ART.
Upon his return to Lebanon, he started to work with one of the busiest IVF clinics in Lebanon between 2000 and 2005. In 2005, he launched 2 ART centers, the Levant fertility center and North Lebanon fertility center.
2010 was a landmark in Dr. Massaad career, as it was when he founded IVF Lebanon, incorporating the North Lebanon fertility center as part of it, and establishing centers in Beirut, Keserwan and the North. Since then, as the Medical Director of IVF Lebanon, he has been able to fulfill his all-time dream of to helping desperate couples achieve parenthood throughout the country and region, attracting patients from the whole Middle East. During his career, Dr. Massaad has given birth to more than 3,000 babies and did more than 20,000 cycles.
His success and he outstanding results is due to continuous innovation and the assistance of a dedicated team of embryologists, midwives and nurses, who meticulously follow patients’ progress.
Dr. Massaad has published several research papers in prominent scientific journals and is frequently invited to speak at prestigious national and international medical conferences. He is also involved in student, resident and fellow training at the Lebanese American University’s UMC-RH (University Medical Center – Rizk Hospital), having mentored several who became ART specialists themselves.

Dr. Mary Chammas
Obstetrics and Gynecology
Dr. Mary Chammas is an experienced obstetrician-gynecologist with specialization in the field of maternal-fetal medicine. She holds special interest in the area of ultrasound diagnosis of fetal malformations and prenatal diagnosis, along with the care of complications to the mother and fetus during pregnancy.
She received both her medical and residency (obstetrics and gynecology) training at the American university of Beirut where she graduated with honors. She then completed a three year fellowship program in maternal-fetal medicine at the University of Illinois at Chicago, where she also obtained a Master’s degree in Public Health.
Throughout her career, Dr. Chammas accumulated more than twenty years of expertise in infertility and reproductive medicine field. She has also become experienced in the field of cosmetic gynecology. She is currently an Associate Clinical Professor of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the St. George Hospital-University Medical Center, Beirut and is actively involved in student and resident training and research. She also heads a busy clinical practice in Beirut.

Dr. Randa Cheaib
Obstetrics & Gynecology, Infertility & specialist in Assisted Reproductive Technologies
Dr. Randa Cheaib is an obstetrician gynecologist specialized in infertility. She received her medical degree from the Lebanese American (LAU) University Gilbert and Rose-Mary Chagoury School of Medicine. She completed her residency training in obstetrics and gynecology at LAU School of medicine as well.
She received intensive training under the close guidance of many well-known IVF experts and professionals in UAE & Lebanon.
Dr. Cheaib joined IVF Lebanon team in June 2018, she will be helping patients achieve all the best possible outcomes in Obstetrics, gynecology and infertility needs.

Dr. Rami Assi
Obstetrics & Gynecology Reproductive Endocrinology & Infertility / Assisted Reproductive Technology
Dr. Rami Assi is a distinguished figure in reproductive medicine, known for his expertise in Assisted Reproductive Technologies (ART) and his unwavering commitment to advanced infertility treatments. Since 2011, he has owned and operated The Lebanese Egyptian Center of Assisted Reproductive Technologies (LECART Clinics), helping countless individuals and couples achieve their dreams of parenthood. With a passion for reproductive endocrinology and infertility management, Dr. Assi honed his skills as a Consultant and Supervisor at LECART Clinics in Cairo. He meticulously evaluated diverse infertility cases, customizing induction protocols and closely monitoring embryonic development, resulting in higher pregnancy rates. Dr. Assi’s expertise extends to treating various reproductive disorders, including menopause, amenorrhea/oligomenorrhea, polycystic ovarian syndrome/insulin resistance, endometriosis, and recurrent pregnancy loss. In 2016, Dr. Assi joined IVF Lebanon Center and became the medical director of its northern branch in Zgharta by 2021. Beyond his clinical work, he shares his knowledge as a medical consultant on the popular health show “Green Apple” on the MBC channel. As an anchor for a segment addressing medical issues, Dr. Assi effectively communicates complex concepts to a wide audience, empowering them with valuable information. Dr. Rami Assi’s pioneering contributions in reproductive medicine, coupled with his dedication and compassion, have established him as a prominent figure in the field. He continues to bring hope and joy to individuals and couples struggling with infertility and reproductive disorders

Dr. Ali Issaoui
Obstetrics and Gynecology
Dr. Ali Issaoui is a Consultant Gynecologist and IVF Specialist. He has over 20 years of experience in fertility and assisted reproduction and specializes in infertility and IVF.
Dr Issaoui is specialized in
advanced regenerative medicine specially mesenchymal stem cells therapy ( SVF: stromal vascular fraction) and autologous exosomes for male and female infertility. He is also known for his expertise in cosmetic gynecology( labiaplasty, vaginal reconstruction).
He graduated from the Piragova Medical School and got his in training in major Hospitals in London & Lebanon. Dr Issaoui has written a number of academic papers on infertility, with particular interest in endometriosis and PCOs. In addition to his OB/GYN surgery practice, he has outstanding skills in the field of Laparoscopy & Hysteroscopy.

Dr. Issam Alam

Dr. Issam Alam graduated from the Lebanese university in Obstetrics and Gynecology. With his 17 years of experience in private practice as a specialist in infertility & Reproductive Medicine, Dr. Alam is an authority in this area and has helped throughout his career more than 9000 women deliver children through IVF. He got his specialization in infertility and reproductive medicine from the Montpellier university in France.

Dr. Savio Barakat
Obstetrics and Gynecology
Pr. Savio Barakat obtained his MD degree from St. Joseph University-Beirut where he also completed his residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology in 1996.
He then pursued his fellowship at the Universities and Hospitals of Paris in ultrasound, fetal medicine, risk pregnancy, infertility, senology, maternal and pregnancy pathologies. In addition, he is certified laparoscopic surgery.
Dr. Barakat’s compassion and experienced approach to treating complex infertility conditions places him among the very best fertility doctors and fertility specialists in Lebanon; he has personally treated hundreds of patients so far.
He has published and edited several publications and theses. Currently, Dr. Barakat is a dedicated teacher at the Faculty of Medicine of the Holy Spirit University in Kaslik.
He is a member of the French National College of Obstetrics and Gynecology, as well as numerous other professional societies and organizations.

Dr. Jana Tarchichi is an obstetrician-gynecologist who has dedicated her career to advancing women’s healthcare. After receiving her medical degree from Beirut Arab Univeristy and specialized training in France (Université Paris Cité) she returned to Lebanon with a deep commitment to serve her community. Dr. Tarchichi joined IVF Lebanon team in oct 2024. Her journey is a testament to resilience, expertise, and passion for empowering women through health.

Elie Saliba
Senior Clinical Embryologist & Consultant
Elias graduated with a Master’s degree in human reproduction & procreation medical assistance (PMA) from the Lebanese University.
In addition, Elias is a lecturer on clinical embryology, male and female infertility, and gametes cryopreservation for Master’ degree students at the Lebanese University.
He has excellent micromanipulation skills and has the ability to execute all delicate clinical embryological procedures. He also has expertise in quality control management.
He has continuously kept abreast with the latest and most contemporary methods by attending numerous workshops and seminars.

Judy Tanios
Clinical Embryologist
Judy Tanios graduated with a master’s in Behavioral and Cognitive Neuroscience from the Lebanese University in 2018. She had a strong human reproduction background and applied her knowledge by working hands-on with couples to manage infertility-related stress. During this project, she acquired IVF laboratory skills and developed a passion for research. Judy also underwent additional training to learn andrology/embryology techniques. She joined our center in 2019 and has been showing enthusiasm and motivation toward clinical embryology. As a researcher, Judy oversees all research-related activities and implements her skills to continuously introduce advances to the lab. She is working on several projects to be published soon with the collaboration of her colleagues.

Dania Nader
Clinical Embryologist
Dania graduated from Saint Family University and immediately joined our team in 2005. During her 13 years at IVF Lebanon, her portfolio includes hundreds of successful cases. Nevertheless, she participates in several seminars and workshops in order to remain updated on the latest developments in her field of specialization. Dania manages the day-to-day operations of the lab and ensures that all laboratory procedures are performed accurately and efficiently at our center in CHN Hospital.

Nehme Ramadan
Clinical Embryologist
Graduated with a master’s degree in Molecular Diagnostics from the Lebanese University in 2024, Nehme joined IVF Lebanon as a junior embryologist where he found his passion for assisted reproductive technologies (ART), marking the beginning of his professional career, working with experts and learning from them to improve his skills in IVF lab techniques.
Nehme is very active socially and scientifically, where he connects with embryologists from all around the world and exchanges knowledge and experience with them, keeps himself updated concerning the newest technologies and findings through international webinars and workshops.

Christina Mansour
Christina Mansour has been a member of the IVF Lebanon team since 2014, serving as the Administrative and Operations Manager. With a Master’s degree in Business Administration and a background in banking and finance, she ensures the smooth daily operations of the center.
Christina plays a vital role in assisting international patients throughout their fertility journey. From the initial inquiry to treatment coordination and travel arrangements, she provides continuous support to ensure a smooth and comfortable experience. She guides patients through each step of the process, answers their questions, and helps with accommodations when needed.
In addition to her work with international clients, Christina oversees administrative operations, internal coordination, patient communication, and supports the clinic’s marketing efforts, including social media and content planning.
Known for her professionalism, empathy, and attention to detail, Christina is dedicated to making every patient—especially those traveling from abroad—feel welcomed, informed, and cared for at IVF Lebanon.
